Meggy Laguda

Meggy is a Filipina/Kiwi filmmaker from Auckland, with a background in set design and freelance videography. She studied Directing & Screenwriting at South Seas Film School and has experience as a Continuity Supervisor and PA.

Meggy aims to write and direct empathetic features that share human experiences. She's passionate about creating opportunities for POC rangatahi and fostering industry accessibility.
